Description:
This Purple Sand Teapot has a unique and
attractive shape. It is unbelievable that the Teapot is in such
good condition given the fact that it had met with such a great
disaster. It is considered a very luck teapot, the owner of this
teapot must also be lucky!!
The lid is perfectly matched with the
body. The body has glaze degradation after long immersion under
water. The body also has seashells attached to it. The base of
the teapot is engraved with Chinese characters, however, the carvings
are very light and cannot be captured on the photos. There
are one 4cm hairline crack at the base, however, it is not very
visible. The spout also has a minute chip. There is no restoration
work done.
